Remembering spaces

Created using plaster cast, 8x8x6.5 inches. In this piece, I tried to visually represent the way I perceived a space in my memory. This depicts a staircase from one of my early childhood homes, a place that stands out in my recollections of the past. By manipulating the staircase's original form, I was attempting to emphasise the way in which memories obscure the reality of the past into foggy images and abstractions.
